I met Kahlia a couple years ago only briefly but had the opportunity to do a quick portrait of her. Her smile and sunny disposition (that’s quite possibly an understatement btw) burned itself into my memory and I swore one day I’d find her again and do a proper portrait session for her. At the time I didn’t even know her name. But by sheer luck I happened to run across her on Facebook and as it turned out she was just about to move out of town. So I met with her and we decided to do a “just because” shoot. It was so much fun! I brought together my hair and makeup team of Sarai Cubero (hair) and Dani Thornton (makeup).
